Sending the kids to school after the pandemic brings a mixed feeling. There is a sense of fear and anxiousness but along with it is excitement and happiness. What excites me and my kid is “Aaj tiffin box mein kya hai” which means, What is there in the tiffin box today? I am excited to cook something interesting and healthy for my kid and he is excited to try something different and delicious. But, yes it is an everyday struggle to keep thinking of what can be packed for his lunch and snack. Though we can opt for food in the school as well but I think nothing can be more nutritious than a home cooked food prepared with lots of love. So here I go with some great enthusiasm to pack my kid’s lunch. I am a little particular about breakfast and hence, the breakfast for my kid is fixed as Curd and Paratha everyday when going to school as it keeps him full for long and is a best meal to start the day. On Weekends I try my hands on some different breakfast recipes.
So I bring to you recipes straight from my kitchen which you could easily pack for your kids. I will be sharing tiffin box recipes in “Tiffin Bites” Section, so stay tuned for some interesting vegetarian recipes everyday. The recipes shared will be very simple, delicious and healthy without too many ingredients to make your mornings stress free. One thing that I always take care of when I am cooking is that I make something which is stress free for me so that my kid can also enjoy a stress free and happy meal.
POINT TO NOTE: MOOD AFFECTS THE TASTE OF THE FOOD 😊

One box for fruits- Diced Apples. I squeeze a few drops of lemon on top and mix it gently so that it does not changes its colour. This he can have as soon as he reaches the school. There is a short break for a quick snack once the kids reach the school.
