Once upon a time there was a big jungle. In that jungle, there was a beautiful lake which nobody was aware of. There were so many animals but none knew about this beautiful lake as it was at the other end of the jungle, away from the part which was mostly inhabited by the animals living in that jungle.

One bright sunny day, Zooby the zebra was on his daily stroll and, he suddenly saw a hunter. Seeing the hunter with a big gun, he got scared and started running to save his life. It ran fast and hid behind the bushes. Even after searching for him for an hour, the hunter could not find him and finally went away. Zooby took a deep breath and as soon as he came out of the bushes, he found the beautiful lake. He was mesmerised seeing the lake and went there to drink water as he was very thirsty. Zooby saw many beautiful  fishes in the lake and was very glad to see the water beauties. The fishes were scared seeing Zooby, but he was not there to harm them and so he went away without troubling them. 

Next day Zooby came back and asked the fishes if it was ok to bring his other animal friends to the lake to drink water? 

He asked the fishes: “Hey beautiful fishes, would you mind if I bring some of my friends here to drink water? I promise that no body will harm you and they all will be friends with you. ” The fishes were glad to hear it, as it was so noble of this zebra to seek permission from them. So, they happily agreed to it and said, Yes.

From the same day many animals started coming to the lake to drink water and made sure that nobody harmed the fishes inhabiting that lake. 

Everyone was happy until one day when Crocky – the crocodile was hungry and angry to know why there aren’t any animals coming to his lake, to drink water. He soon got to know that all the animals are going to some beautiful lake to satisfy their thirst. Hmmmmm, Crocky thought that he will quietly enter the lake when no one is around and capture the beautiful lake. This way he will get its prey easily. While Crocky was making these plans, Jumpy – the frog heard everything and ran to the fishes to tell them about the crocodile’s plan. Listening to all this, the fishes got scared and thought if the crocodile comes to the lake, they will all be killed and along with them other animals will also be in danger. So they called up all their animal friends and started discussing about the same.

All the animals were scared and worried as everyone’s life was at risk and nobody was able to come up with a plan that could stop Crocky from coming to the lake. Nobody was able to think of anything and they all gave up thinking that there was no option to save the lake from Crocky.

But there was a small yellow fish called Flury,  who never gave up on anything and tried her best to face any situation. Suddenly, she came up and said “I have an idea”. The other animals did not pay attention to Flury, thinking that she is too small to come up with a matured idea. But she insisted everyone and asked them to listen to her idea at least once. All the other animals agreed to listen to the small fish as nobody had any clue what to do. Then Flury said that there has been no rainfall this year, we can convince Crocky that this lake is drying and hence there will be no water in the coming months. Listening to this idea, Zooby and all the animals were amazed as this looked like a good plan and implementing it could possibly save their lives. So, they decided to execute the plan. 

So the other day, as per the plan Jumpy and Rainbow the beautiful and colourful butterfly went near the lake and started talking to each other ensuring that Crocky overhears them. Rainbow said “Oh this lake is so dirty, but it is still good to be here as there is water”. Jumpy  said “True, the other lake is beautiful but it is drying up and there will be no water left in that lake, in few months. Any animal that would stay there would die due to the scarcity of water. Thankfully we are here and have enough water for our survival”. Saying this they both started gossiping about other things to make it look natural. 

Crocky was hiding  and listening to their conversation. Listening to this, he got scared. He thought “What if I go from this lake and some other animal captures this private lake of mine? Also, what would happen if the new lake dries?” Thinking of all the scenarios he thought it’s better to stay in his own lake and dropped the idea of going to the other lake. 

And therefore, Flury’s idea worked and she saved everyone’s life with her NEVER GIVE UP attitude. Also, the small fish proved that it doesn’t matter whether you are small or big, what matters is your determination and attitude towards situations.
