The Bhindi Roll and the Sabudana Vada that I packed yesterday was a big hit with my son. He totally loved it and I was extremely happy to see his happy face when he returned. As we all know, happiest are the faces when the stomach is full. So yes, it was a satisfaction to see his box empty, stomach full and face smiling. Now let us quickly jump to the Thursday Tiffin Bites.

One box of Diced Apples. I squeeze a few drops of lemon on top and mix it gently so that it does not changes its colour.
For Lunch – Vegetable Roll
For Roti
- Wheat Flour – 1 cup
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Black Til – 1 tsp
- Ghee/Clarified Water – 1 tsp
- Water for kneading the dough
For Filling
- Mustard Oil – 1 tbsp
- Spring Onion – 1 cup
- Onion (thinly sliced) – 1
- Carrot (thinly sliced) – 1
- French Beans (thinly sliced) – 3
- Capsicum – 1 small
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
- Tomato Ketchup – 1 tbsp
- Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
Method:
- First prepare a soft dough using the ingredients for roti.
- Roll out round rotis using rolling board and pin.
- Heat a skillet and cook the rotis by gently pressing it from both the sides.
- Cook the rotis and keep aside.
- In a pan, heat oil. Once the oil is hot add onion, spring onion (white), carrot, beans and capsicum.
- Sauté on a high flame for 3-4 minutes till it is partially cooked.
- Add salt, black pepper powder, tomato ketchup and soya sauce.
- Gently mix for 2 minutes and it is ready.
- Now, take the prepared rotis and spread the prepared vegetables in it.
- Fold it from both the sides and cook it on a skillet using some ghee.
- Gently cook from both the sides and it is ready to be packed.

Frams as I mentioned in my previous blog was prepared and kept in an airtight container so just took it out of the container and packed it.
